Collier Heights Real Estate

Recent Home Sales in Collier Heights

May 2017

Collier Heights has had some impressive sales in the last 6 months. April was the first month where there were multiple sales over $130,000 including two sales above $200,000.  The most impressive home sold was 233 Chalmers Dr by Solid Source Agent Kevin Polite. This home was remodeled by HausZwei Homes. This Collier Heights home sold for $245,000. It was on the market for 109 days, however, that was during construction. Once the home was completed it was under contract within one week.

The other home sold for over $200,000 was 490 E. Kildare, selling for $215,500. It’s day on market was 10 days, so you can see that a great home will sell fairly quickly in this area.

219 Larchmont Ct sold for $199,000, just missing the $200k mark.  This 5 bedroom, 3 bath home was under contract on the day it was listed, again proving there is a strong buyer preference for homes in this area.

449 West Kildare Ave was sold February 24 for $173,990 coming out to a high $110.96 per square foot.

In total there were only 14 sales ranging in price from $43,000 for a fixer upper on 254 Simon Terrace to the high of $245,000 at 233 Chalmers Dr NW. There is still a chance to find a great fixer upper and the market is slowly presenting completely renovated homes in Collier Heights.
